Big Brothers Big Sisters to host ‘Wine & Dine for Our Youth’ fundraiser

From BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF NORTHWESTERN OHIO

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Ohio invites the community to sponsor its second annual “Wine & Dine for Our Youth,” a pre-Valentine’s Day fundraising event on Friday, Feb. 13, from 6 – 9 p.m., at Claude’s Bistro & Bar, 5103 Levis Commons Blvd., Perrysburg.

Wine & Dine for Our Youth is an intimate evening that brings together approximately 90 business leaders, philanthropists, and community advocates committed to improving outcomes for youth across Lucas and Wood counties. This event is the only fundraiser hosted in Wood County, ensuring local support directly benefits local youth and families. The evening includes a keynote from Dr. Sharon Thomas of ProMedica Ebeid Children’s Hospital, highlighting youth well-being and prevention.

Each year, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Ohio serves 1,000 to 1,500 young people through evidence-based mentoring and leadership development, based on funding availability. In addition to one-to-one mentoring, programs include Empowering Future Leaders, STEM Club, and the Youth Ambassador Club, which strengthens academic success, leadership skills, social emotional development, and long-term workforce readiness. Research consistently shows mentored youth experience stronger academic, mental health, and long-term economic outcomes.

For community partners, this event offers meaningful visibility and engagement with a highly engaged professional audience. Guests will be treated to a chef-curated, three-course dining experience, professionally paired wines, a wine pull, raffles, and a keynote address.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Ohio invites community partners to consider a financial or in-kind sponsorship to help expand mentoring and leadership opportunities for local youth. Tickets and sponsorships are tax-deductible. For more information, call 419-243-4600 or email BBBSNWO@bbsnwo.org.
