BG Rotary Club announces Beatles tribute concert to benefit ‘Science on the Road’

Veterans Building in City Park

From BOWLING GREEN ROTARY CLUB

The Bowling Green Rotary Club will host “An Evening with Hard Day’s Night – Ohio’s Tribute to the Beatles” on Friday, April 17, from 7 – 10 p.m., at the Veterans Memorial Building in City Park, 520 Conneaut Ave. This community event will raise funds to support The Imagination Station’s “Science on the Road” program, presented by the Bowling Green Rotary Club, bringing hands-on science education experiences to local children and families.

The evening will feature a live performance by Hard Day’s Night, a Beatles tribute band that aims to recreate the energy and sound of the Fab Four’s classic era. Hundreds of community members, business leaders, and guests are expected to attend for a night of music, fellowship, and philanthropy.

Proceeds from the event will benefit The Imagination Station’s “Science on the Road” program in Bowling Green, helping to expand engaging, interactive science programming for area students and their families and continuing the Rotary Club’s tradition of service and investment in the local community. Event sponsors will receive recognition in event promotions, social media, and on-site signage, highlighting their commitment to Bowling Green youth and STEM education.

Sponsorship opportunities are available, each with benefits such as event tickets, drink tickets, priority seating, and public acknowledgement during the program. Tickets are $50 per person and include admission, snacks, soft drinks, and bottled water, with adult beverages available for purchase at an additional cost.

Contributions are tax-deductible through the Bowling Green Rotary Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Tickets will be available through BG Rotarians and the Rotary Club of Bowling Green. To purchase a ticket or for sponsorship questions, contact club secretary Betty Kahlenberg at 419-262-2207.
