The Wood County Park District will host a Butterfly & Plant Monitor Training on
Thursday, March 19; 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the park district headquarters’ community classroom, 18729 Mercer Rd., Bowling Green.
Participants will learn to monitor native plants and/or butterflies in Wood County parks. This program kicks off the 2026 monitoring season for both new and returning monitors. Monitoring is a great way to earn Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist hours. Reservations are required at https://reservations.woodcountyparkdistrict.org/programs/10777/.
