Two men were arrested Thursday (March 26) around 2:30 a.m., after reportedly fighting in the city parking lot behind the first block of North Main Street.
Jacob Lucas, 41, of Janesville, Wisconsin, was charged with disorderly conduct/fighting, and obstructing official business. Randall Elmore, 28, Toledo, was charged with disorderly conduct/fighting, obstructing official business and resisting arrest. Both men were taken to Wood County Jail.
BG Police responded to reportedly find Lucas and Elmore fighting with others in the parking lot. One of the others said Elmore had broken his glasses and pulled his coat over his head in a bar.
Elmore reportedly ran from the parking lot. When officers caught up with him, Elmore complained of injuries and was taken to Wood County Hospital.
Video from the parking lot reportedly showed Elmore squaring up to fight with another man, then losing his footing and falling headfirst into the rear bumper of a car.
Police had to respond to the hospital after Elmore kept resisting efforts to perform a CT scan on him. He was taken to jail.
Video from the parking lot also reportedly showed a man trying to hold back Lucas from fighting with others. It appeared to work temporarily until Lucas reportedly elbowed the man twice in the head.
