From BOWLING GREEN ARTS COUNCIL
The Bowling Green Arts Council has announced Art Walk 2026, in which 16 locations throughout historic downtown Bowling Green will host artists’ displays on Saturday, May 9, from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Art Walk will feature an exhibition of one piece by each of the artists at the Wood County District Public Library, 251 N. Main St., in addition to the displays at businesses. This provides visitors a chance to start out with a preview and vote for their favorite artwork.
Brochures with all artist locations will be available so walkers can locate the artists they want to visit.
Jurors’ and People’s Choice awards will be announced at the Art Walk After-Party, from 5 – 6 p.m. at Myla Marcus Winery, 133 S. Main St. There will be refreshments sponsored by Kabob It and Pisanello’s, wine tastes, and music by Sandy Coursey.
The event is free and open to the public.
The BGAC is a volunteer organization working with local artists, arts organizations, and supporters to provide inspiration, enjoyment, and learning opportunities in the Bowling Green community.
