The Bowling Green Memorial Day Observance Committee will be decorating Memory Gardens Cemetery, 5360 Liberty Hi Road, Bowling Green, and Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green, on Saturday, May 16.
Flags will be placed on veterans’ graves starting with Memory Gardens at 10 a.m. and concluding with Oak Grove Cemetery at 1 p.m.
To assist in this effort, the Bowling Green Memorial Day Observance Committee is seeking community groups and individuals to help place flags on veterans’ graves. The committee appreciates the many volunteers that assist in honoring veterans each year.
