Wood County at ‘slight risk’ for severe weather later today

Wood County is under a “Slight Risk” (2 of 5) for severe weather today, May 4. Showers and thunderstorms will be developing this afternoon and evening. An isolated severe storm or two may be possible this evening with the primary threats identified as damaging wind gusts and large hail 1-inch in diameter or greater.

The severe weather threat will transition to showers over night. There will be a brief dry period in the morning with showers returning throughout Tuesday, May 5.
