Kenneth Jay Parker, 59, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away on April 7, 2026 at his home. He was born on January 4, 1967, in Bowling Green, Ohio to Gary “Doug” and Royce “Linda” Parker. Ken was a 1985 graduate of Bowling Green High School. After graduating, he pursued a career as a safety instructor and worked with Green Manufacturing in Bowling Green, Ohio, Alex Products in Ridgeville Corners, Ohio, and later the Safety Training and Tracing Corporation at the BP-Husky Refinery in Toledo, Ohio.
Ken was an avid woodworker and spent countless hours in his workshop crafting furniture for his home and for those he loved. A longtime member of the Maumee Valley Sportsman Club, he enjoyed spending time shooting alongside family. When he wasn’t caring for his home and garden, Ken could often be found on the Slippery Elm Trail riding one of his many bicycles and was, for a time, a member of the Toledo Area Bikers. Ken had a special fondness for dogs and owned several beagles and poodles throughout his life, most recently, Eevee and Coco. He will be remembered as the comedian at every family gathering, always finding a way to make others laugh.
Ken is survived by his brothers, Greggory of Brunswick, Ohio and Jeffrey (Diane) of Napoleon, Ohio; niece Danielle (Alex) Solis of Baltimore, Maryland and nephew Ryan (Alexis) Parker of Bowling Green, Ohio. Ken is preceded in death by his parents. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
