ODOT to convert intersection of Ohio 235 and Kellogg Road into a four-way stop

The Ohio Department of Transportation is working to improve safety at the intersection of Ohio 235 and Kellogg Road west of Tontogany in Wood County. ODOT’s maintenance crews will convert the intersection of Route 235 at Kellogg Road from the existing two-way stop to a four-way/all-way stop on Oct. 27.

The purpose for the change is to improve safety and address a crash trend at the intersection where the most common type of crash was the result of drivers failing to yield to cross-traffic that was not required to stop.

Message boards will be posted at each of the approaches to the intersection. Motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution through the intersection after the change is implemented.
