The monthly general meeting of Not In Our Town BG will be held in Room 316 of the Bowen Thompson Student Union of Bowling Green State University on Thursday, July 6, from 3-5 p.m. The gathering is open to community and campus public participation and input, with particular focus on any reports of discriminatory behavior. Those present will review local and national events of the past month and develop plans to expand connections to both the university campus and the community at large. The July agenda will include identifying leadership for 2017-18 and current key topics and opportunities for building a more safe, just and inclusive community.
NIOT BG is a community-wide movement, with monthly meetings alternating between the BGSU campus and a downtown location. Questions, comments and requests for parking passes can be sent to the co-chairpersons, Alex Solis (asolis@bgsu.edu) and Rev. Gary Saunders (pastorgary@bgpresb.org).
