The monthly general meeting of Not In Our Town BG will be held in room 316 of the Bowen Thompson Student Union of Bowling Green State University on Thursday Sept. 7, from 3-5 p.m. The gathering is open to community and campus public participation and input. Those present will review local and national events of the past month and hear reports of current NIOT efforts. The group will be open to hear opportunities to build a more safe, respectful and inclusive community, as well as any reports of discriminatory issues.
NIOT BG is a community-wide movement, with monthly meetings alternating between the BGSU campus and a downtown location. Questions, comments and requests for parking passes can be sent to the co-chairpersons, Alex Solis (asolis@bgsu.edu) and Julie Broadwell (J.Broadwell@cocoonshelter.org).
