A protest of House Bill 6 will be held Monday, June 3, 4:30-6:30 p.m., at the Toledo Edison Building, 300 Madison Ave., Toledo.
Protestors object to the legislation’s rate-payer funded subsidies for nuclear and coal plants in Ohio and Indiana as well as its elimination of green energy mandates.
The bill passed the Ohio House on Thursday, and must now be considered by the Ohio Senate.
The rally is one of several planned across the state.
