Sylvia I. Dill, 85, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away February 9, 2020. She was born October 22, 1934 in Greenville, Virginia to the late William and Ruthie (Drawbond) Painter. She married William E. Dill and he preceded her in death January 18, 2002.
Sylvia worked as a secretary for the Dean of Arts & Sciences at BGSU. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, photography and feeding and watching birds. She was an avid reader. She was a member of the Bowling Green Senior Center. She loved spending time with her family and absolutely adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters Janet Kleman of Columbus Grove, Ohio and Susan Adler of North Carolina, son Jeffrey Dill of Columbus, Ohio, 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Earl Painter, Willie Painter, Warren Painter and Garfield Painter and sister Carol Painter all of Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Rebecca Evans and siblings Norman, Fred, Frank and Mildred McCormic.
Services will be private for the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
