Two pedestrians hit by car in BG in critical but stable condition

Two pedestrians hit by a vehicle Saturday night in Bowling Green are in critical but stable condition, according to Bowling Green Police Division.

The pedestrians were struck at the corner of East Wooster Street and Prospect Street around 10:04 p.m. They were taken to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.

The pedestrians had reportedly crossed Wooster Street with the light, then were hit by the vehicle, according to Police Lt. Dan Mancuso. It was dark and rainy at the time, he said.

The driver remained on the scene. The crash report was not available for public release as of early this afternoon.
