A solidarity gathering to support those affected by the recent executive order regarding immigration from Muslim-majority countries will be held today (Sunday, Jan. 29) at 5:30 p.m. in the green space at the corner of Church Street and Wooster Avenue.
President Donald Trump on Friday issued an executive order calling for a 90-day suspension of visas and other immigration benefits to all nationals of Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Yemen, Libya and Somalia and the complete suspension of the US Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) for 120 days.
