A Bowling Green man has been charged with two counts of criminal trespassing after he allegedly told residents of two households that he had pooped in their front yards.

On Wednesday, around 4:57 p.m., police responded to Rosewood Court for a report of a suspicious subject attempting to use the restroom. The residents said they had been approached by someone, later identified as Michael Welsh Jr., 19, Bowling Green. They asked Welsh to leave their property.

The residents reportedly found a crushed up candy bar in the yard, where Welsh said he had a bowel movement. The homeowners said they thought it was a joke when Welsh reportedly licked his hand after saying he “pooped” in their yard.

Around 5 p.m., police responded to the 1400 block of Devonshire Street, when a resident there called police after seeing a man walking in the front lawn and grabbing his stomach.

In that case, Welsh allegedly made a comment about eating sardines. The resident thought Welsh had pooped in his yard. But when he walked outside, the resident found some type of brown muffin where Welsh allegedly pretended to have a bowel movement.
