Sheriff’s Office asks for public’s help locating missing Jerry City teenager

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 17-year-old male. Gavin Lee was last seen on Wednesday, June 3, at approximately noon. Gavin left his home in Jerry City to go camping, and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, camouflage pants, a brown coat, brown hat, and brown boots. Gavin left his home riding a black and pink beach cruiser style bicycle, carrying his green backpack. 

The sheriff’s office is using its drone team to fly over areas Gavin has visited in the past, and potential sightings reported, including one tip of a potential sighting near Deshler.
