The City of Bowling Green will be providing plant vouchers for homeowners to use at the Wood County Friends of the Park Native Plant Sale.
These vouchers are redeemable for one plant with a value of $6. Homeowners are allowed to redeem up to five vouchers per Bowling Green address at the sale. These vouchers can be redeemed upon check-out and are applicable to the exclusive Friends of the Park Native Plant Sale.
To claim your vouchers, visit the BG City Administration Building, Public Works Department until Friday May 2, or visit the city’s booth at the Wood County Plant Exchange on April 26, located at the Wood County Fairgrounds, from 9 to 10 a.m., or the Community Earth Day Celebration on April 27, located at 515 Sand Ridge Road, from 2 to 4 p.m.
A limited number of vouchers, as well as plants, are available, so be sure to act early.
The Wood County Park District Native Plant sale will take place Saturday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Wood County Fairgrounds, Champion Building, 13800 W. Poe Road, Bowling Green. The sale will include various native plants and shrubs and is open to all.
