BG man cited for criminal trespassing for allegedly threatening people with bat

A Bowling Green man was cited for criminal trespassing after he reportedly walked into a home carrying an aluminum bat and threatened the occupants.

Police were called to the home in the 300 block of South Main Street, on Tuesday (May 6) around 8:17 p.m., for the unwanted guest, Matthew Winslow, 40. The occupants told him to leave, which he did, before returning a few minutes later, still with the bat.

The victims said they didn’t feel threatened, but wanted Winslow charged with criminal trespassing. As police were talking with the residents, Winslow was located after being in an injury crash.
