Shirley M. Vogel, 90, of Bowling Green, has sadly passed away on March 14, 2025 after a brief illness. Shirley was born on March 31, 1935 to Howard and Annabelle Garrett.
Shirley’s goal in life was always helping others, baking cookies and enjoying her precious family.
She is survived by her daughter Pam Kominek; granddaughters Angela Reyome and Jamie Kominek (Brad); great-granddaughter Adrianna Kominek (the light of her life); all of Findlay, OH; a brother Fred Garrett of Old Hickory, TN; a sister Joyce Boudrie of Indianatlantic, FL; a brother Skip Baltz of Van Buren, OH and her foster sister Linda Canterbury of Portage, OH.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, great-granddaughter Alexis Kominek, 1st husband Jack Darding, 2nd husband Wiz Vogel, son-in-law John Kominek III and grandson-in-law Mike Reyome.
There will be no visitation. Per her wishes, Shirley will be laid to rest at Wingston Cemetery with a private family service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
