Jerome (Jerry) Landry, age 84, of Pemberville, OH previously of Delaware, OH passed away May 18, 2025 at his home surrounded by family.
Born May 21, 1940 in Hubbard, OH to parents Beatrice (Gratz) and Anthony Lee Landry both deceased. He graduated Hubbard High School and barber school. He was a barber by trade his entire life and affectionately known as Jerry the Barber. He enjoyed running his own barber shop and managing larger salons. Sitting in his barber chair meant talking, enjoying jokes, gaining his friendship, and a quality cut. Many family members and friends sat in his chair over the years. Some friends span 30+ years with many getting a cut by Jerry until he stopped in October 2024.
He married the love of his life Kathy Landry on September 12, 1964. He was her constant companion in love and life. They celebrated 60 years of marriage prior to her death in October 2024. He leaves four children, Laura Landry Meyer (Tom Oberhouse), Carolyn Mullenix, Rick Landry (Sonya), and Marni (Jim) Molina; 9 grandchildren: Eleanora Meyer, Nathan Meyer, Cassandra (Thomas) Moore, Claire Mullenix, Jacob Molina, Joe Molina, Jessica Molina, Nick (Elyse) Oberhouse, and Aubrey Oberhouse; 2 great grandchildren Harrison Oberhouse and Sullivan Oberhouse. He was preceded in death by two sons-in-law Doug Meyer and Michael Mullenix and two sisters Jean Toot and Rene Kacir.
Family and friends may call from 1-3 p.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Marsh Marsteller Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH. A prayer service will be held following visitation at 3 p.m., at the funeral home.
