A Port Clinton man was arrested in Bowling Green for improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a defaced firearm, and underage possession of marijuana. The man, Dominic Frias, 18, was taken to Wood County Jail.
BG Police responded Friday (10/31) around 10:07 p.m., to City Parking Lot #3, near West Clough Street, for a traffic stop.
Inside the vehicle, officers found a 9 mm handgun in the glovebox with a loaded magazine also in the glovebox. In the center console was a .380 auto handgun with a loaded magazine inserted. The serial number had been filed down and the secondary number could not be confirmed.
