The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department has announced dates for the winter-spring 2026 “Parents’ Night Out” program. Participating children, ages 5 – 12, can be dropped off at the Bowling Green Community Center for a Friday night of activities, including games, arts & crafts, gym time, and the Freedom Climber rotating wall. Registration is limited to the first 20 participants and slots sell out quickly. Sessions are from 5 – 9 p.m. on the following Fridays:

- Jan. 23
- Feb. 13
- Feb. 27
- March 13
- March 27
- April 10
- April 24
- May 15
- May 29
Children should eat dinner before drop-off, as no food or snacks will be provided at the event. Parents are welcome to send a snack with their child, if needed. The program costs $15 per resident child per session and $19 per non-resident child per session.
