This year’s 2026 Ohio Severe Weather Awareness Week is scheduled for March 15 – 21. The annual statewide tornado drill will be held on Wednesday, March 18, at 9:50 a.m.
These events are an opportunity for families, schools, and businesses to establish or review severe weather emergency plans and procedures. People are encouraged to be weather aware this spring as severe weather and flooding are the most common forms of disaster in Wood County.
