The Bowling Green Exchange Club and Bowling Green High School have announced Landon Fry is the April 2026 Student of the Month. Landon is a senior at Bowling Green High School and will graduate on May 24. He is the son of Alicia and Benjamin Fry.
Landon’s school honors and activities include membership in the National Honor Society, where he serves as co-parliamentarian, and the National Spanish Honor Society. Landon is a four-year varsity athlete on the cross country team and a three-year varsity member of the track and field team. He is a two-time First Team All-League selection and has qualified for the OHSAA State Championships in cross country, contributing to a state runner-up team finish. In track and field, Landon is a three-time regional qualifier and a member of the school record 4X1600 meter relay team. He has also earned multiple Scholar Athlete and Academic All-Ohio honors for his success in both academics and athletics. Landon also received the Certificate of Excellence for receiving a perfect score on his American history state test.
Outside of school, Landon is involved in his community through volunteer work with the Black Swamp Arts Festival, Firefly Nights, and Special Olympics of Ohio. He is also a member of the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program and the Toledo Roadrunners Club, where he also contributes to charitable events and community initiatives.
Landon currently holds a 4.34 GPA. After high school, he plans to attend a four-year university to earn a bachelor’s degree in field and environmental biology, with plans to continue his education by pursuing both a master’s and doctorate degree.
