From WOOD COUNTY DISTRICT PUBLIC LIBRARY
The Wood County District Public Library has announced that the “Securing Our Future” campaign has reached its goal of raising $2 million. This campaign, which went public in February with a goal of raising funds to support WCDPL’s future, met its goal through the support of many donors.
A majority of the gifts received from this campaign will be placed into endowments or will be realized at a later date with legacy gifts. These endowments and legacy gifts will support WCDPL for many years to come, providing a stable financial foundation of the library in times of funding uncertainty.
WCDPL thanks the community for its support of the integral campaign. Every dollar matters, and with these funds, the library will remain a community cornerstone for many years to come.
