MemoryLane Care Services, a nonprofit organization serving individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders and the families who care for them, invites the community to celebrate the launch of its tenth anniversary year during the organization’s “10-Year Kick-Off Celebration” on Thursday, Sept. 10, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at MemoryLane Care Services, 2500 N. Reynolds Road, Toledo.
Throughout the anniversary year, MemoryLane will host a series of community events and initiatives that celebrate a decade of compassionate care, recognize the families, volunteers, donors, staff, and community partners who have made its mission possible, and inspire continued support for the future.
Guests can enjoy light refreshments, guided tours of the Adult Day Center, anniversary displays, and opportunities to meet staff, volunteers, board members, donors, and community partners. The evening will conclude with a brief anniversary program recognizing the people who have shaped MemoryLane’s first decade and sharing the organization’s vision for the future.
“For ten years, our community has come together to ensure that individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders – and the families who care for them – never have to walk that journey alone,” said Salli Bollin, president and CEO of MemoryLane Care Services. “This celebration is an opportunity to thank the people who have supported our mission and to look ahead as we continue expanding services and strengthening support for caregivers throughout our region.”
Since opening in 2016, MemoryLane Care Services has expanded its programs to include adult day centers, caregiver education and support, care coaching, respite services, care transitions, and community outreach – helping families navigate Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders with dignity, compassion, and hope.
The 10-Year Kick-Off Celebration is free and open to the public. Whether someone has been part of MemoryLane’s story for years or is learning about the organization for the first time, everyone is invited to join MemoryLane in celebrating this milestone.
