From TOLEDO ZOO & AQUARIUM
The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium’s Harvest Fest is running now through Oct. 31, bringing giant pumpkin displays, seasonal food, live entertainment, and fall activities throughout the zoo.
Presented by Superior Credit Union, Harvest Fest features seasonal displays and activities for guests of all ages. The celebration is included with zoo admission and free for members.
“Harvest Fest gives our guests another way to experience the zoo and enjoy the fall season,” said Shayla Moriarty, chief operating officer and executive vice president at the Toledo Zoo. “Events like this create opportunities for people to connect with the zoo, spend time together, and engage with our mission of inspiring others to join us in caring for animals and conserving the natural world.”
Harvest Fest activities include live music, pumpkin carving demonstrations and classes, character meet-and-greets, animal demonstrations, and seasonal food and beverages.
The zoo will offer extended hours on Thursdays and Fridays during Harvest Fest, giving guests additional time to explore the displays and activities into the evening.
Special events throughout October include:
- Little Boo presented by Meijer on Oct. 15 and 16
- Pumpkin Path presented by Dei Fratelli Hirzel Canning Co. & Farms on Oct. 17 and 18
