Bartley A. Brennan, age 74, of Pemberville, OH passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green, OH. He was born on August 20, 1941 in Rochester, NY to Adrian and Virginia (Winkler) Brennan. On November 12, 1989 he married Sandra Frobose in Las Vegas, NV and she survives. From 1964-1966 he was in the Peace Corp serving in Ethiopia. Bartley was a Professor of Legal Studies at BGSU. He wrote many articles, publications and textbooks about Foreign Corrupt Practice Acts and Laws of Securities and Antitrust. His memberships included: District of Columbia Bar Association, Chairman of the Faculty Senate, Dept. of Legal Studies at BGSU and active in various committees in the College of Business.
Bartley is survived by his loving wife of 26 years: Sandy, brother: John (Kay) Brennan of Fort Collins, CO, 7 nieces and 5 nephews.
As per Bartley’s wishes there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements are being handled by the Marsh Funeral Home, Pemberville, OH.
