Bowling Green Police arrested a Wayne man Tuesday for kidnapping and two counts of domestic violence.
Keith Henry, 49, reportedly hit the back of a vehicle stopped at South Main Street and Gypsy Lane Road, then allegedly assaulted the driver of the vehicle and tried to pull the juvenile passenger, his daughter, to his truck.
When police arrived on the scene around 5:30 p.m., the female driver was on the ground with Henry standing above her and yelling at two witnesses who were trying to check on the woman.
The victim told police that Henry ran into her vehicle and kept accelerating to push it into the vehicle in front of her. The woman and the young passenger got out, and Henry reportedly told the girl to get in his truck. When he allegedly grabbed the girl by the arms, the woman, her mother, got between the two.
According to witnesses, Henry then threw the woman to the ground, with her head hitting the road. She was transported to Wood County Hospital for treatment.
Henry, who told police that he had custody of their children, was taken to the Wood County jail.
