Karen Lynett Rothenbuhler, age 75, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Bowling Green Manor in Bowling Green, Ohio. She was born on November 7, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio to Father, Harry Edwin Price, and Mother, Joyce E. Raymer. She married Steve (Rocky) Rothenbuhler in Findlay, Ohio.
Karen previously worked for Abke Trucking in Pemberville, Ohio and also took care of Steve the last 20 years of his life. Karen enjoyed painting, drawing, jewelry making and spending time with family and friends. Karen loved the sun and spent a lot of time outdoors.
Karen is survived by her sons: Joe (Terry) Depinet and Jim Depinet, Sister; Cindy Fobes, grandchildren: Charles Mackay, Brandy Mackay and Amber Depinet, numerous great grandchildren, 2 nieces and a great niece, along with her chosen family, Pat (Sam) Sarver, Zach (Tara) Sarver, Rusty (Kylee) Sarver and Bowling Green Manor staff. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and furry friend Teddy.
Family and friends are asked to gather on Friday, August 2, at 11:00 a.m. at Webster Township Cemetery, Scotch Ridge, Ohio where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Steve. We ask everyone attending to wear something purple in honor of Karen’s favorite color. Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Troy Township Fire Department.
