Trotters Tavern is a well-known downtown steakhouse , near Bowling Green’s Four Corners. The owners pride themselves on friendly service, a comfortable atmosphere, excellent food, and several ice-cold draft beer choices.
“Trotters Tavern was opened in 1994. My wife, Heather, and I purchased Trotters right around its 30-year anniversary. We have added a few menu items and drink options, including partnering with Juniper Brewing Co. to keep them on tap every day we’re open. We have also created a newer-looking up-to-date Trotters logo for our sign out front, menus, and all our new staff apparel,” says owner Greg Shepherd.
As part of their $6,000-plus renovation to the dining room, the owners removed the indoor “roof” structure that hung over the entire bar area, and with two new metal support lintels, they brought back the 100-plus year old brick that was covered for the past 30 years. They also added three brand new flat screen TVs, and new lighting.
