Alanna Lee Lohman

Alanna Lee Lohman, age 71, of Bowling Green and formerly of Delta, passed away peacefully under hospice care at Bowling Green Manor, Sunday evening, November 10. 2024. She was born on July 7, 1953, to the late Charles Emmitt and Garnet Adrian (Berkebile) Radabaugh in Wauseon, Ohio. Alanna was a graduate of Delta High School Class of 1971; where she was a cheerleader and homecoming queen.  After high school, she would attend Fort Wayne Business College and obtain her associate’s degree. On August 7, 1976, she would marry Kenneth Lohman and cherish 48 years together.

Alanna’s career started at the Peoples Bank as a teller, then she went on to serve as a legal secretary with Beard and Kaper Law Firm.  She later decided to work alongside her husband as office manager at her husband’s insurance business, Kenneth L. Lohman Insurance in Bowling Green, where Alanna would spend 30 years before retiring. She was a member of the former Delta United Methodist Church, now known as Hope Church of Delta and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bowling Green.

Although a beautiful girl in school, she was a tomboy at heart and loved to play baseball and softball with the boys, never afraid of getting dirty. Alanna had a love for animals, including her beloved dogs and cats and even the community strays. 

Left to cherish her are husband, Kenneth Lohman of Bowling Green; daughter, Sarah (Vince) Dejulio of Chicago; son, Greg (Jennifer) Lohman of Sheridan, IN; brother, Charles “Allen” (Daisy) Radabaugh of Wauseon; grandchildren, Gabriela, Emery and Lucas.  

Friends and family will be received from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta; with a funeral service for Alanna beginning at 12:00 Noon on Saturday.  Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta.
