BG roads to close for street, sewer, water maintenance

Citizens can expect brief impacts to their drive while the city of Bowling Green crews conduct street, sewer, and water maintenance. It is encouraged to note that all closure dates are subject to change, depending on weather conditions and the progress of the work.

Wallace Avenue will be closed in both directions between North Maple and North Grove Streets on July 21 and 22, from 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Water distribution crews will replace a sewer lateral in the area.

The northbound lane of Fairview Avenue will be closed between Conneaut Avenue and Liberty Street on July 21 and 22, from 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Water distribution crews will be replacing a sewer lateral in the area.

The Public Works Department will be installing a survey pin on the north side of the intersection of South Main Street and Napoleon Road on Thursday, July 24, from 6 a.m. – 3 p.m. During this work, northbound and southbound traffic on South Main Street will be reduced to one lane north of the intersection. In addition, the southbound left-turn lane onto Napoleon Road will be closed.
