Wood County reported nine new COVID-19 cases, one more death and one new hospitalization due to COVID since last Thursday.
The county is now up to 13,249 confirmed and probable cases from COVID, 223 deaths and 655 hospitalizations since last March, according to the Tuesday, June 1, update from the Wood County Health Department.
The county is down to 41 COVID cases per 100,000 residents.
Wood County has surpassed half of its residents getting at least the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. As of today, 65,878 local residents (50.36%) have gotten at least one shot.
