Betty J. Staib, age 64 of Walbridge, Ohio passed away with her family near her side on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. She was born on October 10, 1951 in Toledo to Robert and Irene (Anderson) Staib. A life long member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Stony Ridge, Betty was a long time helper with the Sunday School, sang with the Festival Choir and was a member of the Rebekah Circle.
Betty is survived by her brother: William R. (Carolyn) Staib of Walbridge, OH, nephews: Michael Staib, Kenneth (Joyce) Staib and Andrew Staib. She was preceded in death by her Parents.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Marsh Funeral Home, 110 Main Street, Luckey, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 5520 Fremont Pike, Stony Ridge, OH with additional visitation from 10 AM until time of services. Officiating will be Rev. Daniel G. Beaudoin. Interment will be in Troy Township Cemetery, Luckey, OH. A bereavement luncheon will be served in the church fellowship hall immediately following the cemetery committal services.
