BG Fire Division has 24 more Knox Boxes that allow EMS to make quick entry to homes

Bowling Green east side fire station

The Bowling Green Fire Division has purchased 24 additional residential Knox Boxes to loan (free of charge) to approved citizens, using Bowling Green Community Foundation grant funding provided to the Bowling Green Firefighters Community Benefit Fund.

Knox Boxes are used to gain access to elderly or disabled patients in an emergency when that patient is unable to get to the door themselves. Having this box saves precious time and costly damage to the doors and windows of residences.

An online application is available at www.bgohio.org/knoxbox. Residents may also contact the Fire Division for more information at 419-352-3651.
