The public is invited to an open house at the Bowling Green Fire Division’s Pearl Street Fire Station at 1060 Pearl St. on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be a fire extinguisher demonstration at 11 a.m., and an auto extrication demonstration using the Jaws of Life at noon. Those attending the open house will be able to operate a fire hose, sit in fire trucks and ambulances, tour the station, pick up safety brochures, go through the fire safety trailer, and talk with firefighters.
