A Bowling Green man was arrested for criminal damaging after a Ring doorbell camera reportedly videotaped him removing the camera from a home in the 800 block of Scott Hamilton Boulevard.
BG Police responded to the home on Thursday (July 23) evening to find the doorbell camera missing, flowers pulled out from pots and thrown throughout the yard, and a wall air conditioning unit laying on the ground.
Video from the Ring camera allegedly showed Justin Miller, 45, approaching the camera from a wide angle, removing it, and covering the lens. Police found the camera in a nearby dumpster.
Officers located Miller in a downtown bar and transported him to Wood County Jail.
