Bowling Green Police charged three men with disorderly conduct/fighting on Friday (March 24) around 2:30 a.m. The three men were caught on cameras as they reportedly shoved people to the ground and hit them in the parking lot at 215 E. Wooster St.

When officers pulled into the parking lot, people scattered.

One of the offenders remained in the parking lot, another was found later after being identified on video, and the third turned himself in at the police station.

The night before, in the same area of downtown, Bowling Green Police arrested a man for burglary around 2:30 a.m., after a frozen pizza reportedly dropped from his jacket, Slim Jims were found in his waistband, and a Pringles lid was found in his back pocket.

Police were called to the Circle K, 103 N. Prospect St., for a man who walked out of the store with items he reportedly had not paid for. The 30-year-old man had reportedly been in the store twice before, trying to purchase food, but his card was declined. According to police records, the man had been ordered to not return to the store after he reportedly stole items in the past.

When police located the man as he was walking home, officers reported a bulge in his jacket. When the man was handcuffed, a frozen pizza reportedly fell out of his jacket. Other unpaid items were also found in his waistband and pocket, with the total cost of $21.19. Video footage from the store reportedly showed him taking the items and leaving without paying.

Since he had been previously trespassed from the property, the man was charged with burglary and taken to Wood County Jail.
