Board of Elections to certify Nov. 7 vote counts; results in BG School Board race may change

Wood County Board of Elections Office in the county office building

The Wood County Board of Elections will hold a meeting Monday, Nov. 20, at 8:30 a.m., for the purpose of ruling on provisional ballots from the Nov. 7 General Election. The board of elections will then meet at 11:30 a.m., the same day, to certify the results of the election.

Both meetings will be held in the board of elections’ conference room, on the first floor of the Wood County Office Building in Bowling Green.

Because of the close unofficial vote count in the Nov. 7 election, it is possible that the winners in the Bowling Green Board of Education race will change once the provisional ballots are added in. It is also possible that a recount will be required.
