Cat show at community center may affect those using fitness area

Cats at the Wood County Humane Society

(Submitted by Bowling Green Community Center)

On Dec. 8, the Just Cat-In Around Cat Fanciers will be holding a CFA Cat Show at the Bowling Green Community Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Your health and well being while working out is important to us and the number one reason why we are letting you know ahead of time of the cat show.  Pass holders and family members with cat allergies may want to refrain from coming into the building on Dec. 8.

The fitness area and track will be available for use, however, there will not be any open gyms that day.  As an alternative to using the gyms we ask that you consider using one of the wonderful parks around the city.  Perhaps a beautiful winter walk out at the Nature Preserve could be your form of exercise that day.  Or a nice walk at the Simpson Garden Park may be a wonderful opportunity to see the gardens in a different way during the winter.  Of course, you would need to bundle up and utilize the trails and walkways with care and caution.

We appreciate your support and the opportunity to assist you in reaching your fitness goals.  If you have any questions, feel free to call the Community Center at 419.354.6223.  You may also email Cheryl with any questions at clwitt@bgohio.org.
