Elisa Pacheco Cano

Elisa Pacheco Cano, 81, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away, Tuesday, April 19, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.
Elisa was born in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Elias and Carmen (Compos) Pacheco. She married Jose Cano on September 15, 1953 in the St. Aloysius Catholic Church and he preceded her in death.
Elisa is survived by her three daughters: Yolanda (Scott) Trimble, of Deshler, Ohio; Mary Cano, of Bowling Green, Ohio; Gloria Cano, of Bowling Green, Ohio; five sons: Jose (Dan) Cano Jr., of Bowling Green, Ohio; Antonio Cano, of Dayton, Ohio; Frank Cano, of Bowling Green, Ohio; Ricardo Cano, of Bowling Green, Ohio; David Cano, of Bowling Green, Ohio; a daughter in law: Sue Cano, of Haskins, Ohio; a host of loving grandchildren and great grandchildren and 1sister.
Along with her parents and husband, Elisa was preceded in death by a son: Alberto “Al” Cano; a grandson: Daniel “Danner” Patton; 1 sister and 3 brothers.
Elisa was a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Bowling Green. Elisa had a very full life with many experiences, such as working at Bowling Green State University, the Korner Kitchen Restaurant, baking pies and raising her 9 children. Family was extremely important to Elisa, she loved cooking for her children, grandchildren and friends and she always made sure everyone was fed. Elisa enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, listening to Mexican Music, however most of all she loved spending time with her family. Elisa will be missed by her outpouring love, her sense of humor and her quick comebacks.
Visitation for Elisa will be Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 PM in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster Street/P.O. Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Tele: 419-352-2171. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 10:30 AM in the St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 150 South Enterprise Street, Bowling Green, Ohio, with Father Mark Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
