Injury crash involving semi restricts northbound traffic on I-75

The Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a roll over injury crash that disrupted traffic earlier today (May 17). The crash occurred on Wednesday at approximately 11 a.m. on Interstate 75 near mile post 154. The crash occurred south of the City of Findlay in Liberty Township, Hancock County. 

Joshua D. Jordan, 40, of Toledo, was driving a 2019 Freightliner. The truck was pulling a tanker trailer hauling hazardous material. He was traveling northbound on I-75 when he lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the left side of the road. Once the vehicle left the roadway it struck the median and overturned. Mr. Jordan was extricated from the vehicle with serious injuries and transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital. 

Northbound -75 was restricted to one lane of travel for three and half hours. The roadway has since been re-opened.
