Katsiaryna Virgolici

Katsiaryna “Katia” Virgolici, 39 years of age, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, June 29, 2016.
Katia was born in Minsk, Belarus to Valeri Kunzniatsov and Raina Kunzniatsova.  

Katia is survived by her loving husband: Marcel Virgolici, of Bowling Green, Ohio; her daughter: Margarita Rojkova, of Vaughan, Ontario; her son: Victor Kenneth Virgolici, of Bowling Green, Ohio; her mother: Raina (Ken) Adams, of Rochester Hills, Michigan; her sisters: Alena (Stojce) Bogatinova, of Woodbridge, Ontario; her stepsister: Melissa Adams and a stepbrother: Kenny Adams.

Katia began her career with Magna International in 2003. Throughout her career she had the opportunity to work in various divisions of Magna with the most recent position being with Vehtek Technologies Systems in Bowling Green as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the Senior Leadership Team.  

Katia loved traveling throughout the world. Katia enjoyed her time participating in competitive swimming when she was younger as well as going to various ballets. Katia loved cooking for her family and friends as well as going shopping, gardening and dancing. Katia cherished the times she got to spend fishing with her husband Marcel. Of all these hobbies and interests, Katia loved her family the most and the time she spent with them. Katia’s positive spirit, sweet demeanor and beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation for Katia will be held on Monday July 11, 2016 from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory, 1460 W. Wooster Street/P.O. Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Tele: 419-352-2171. Funeral Services for Katia will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 12:00 Noon with additional visitation beginning at 11:00 AM in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home Remembrance Chapel. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green, Ohio.
