Luckey hosting Christmas in the Village

This Saturday, December 12th, the Village of Luckey will be hosting Christmas in the Village. The following events will take place throughout the day:

  • Luckey Library will have a story walk at the legion park
  • Unvaulted Treasures will feature Mrs. Clause, raffles for prizes, single day vendors for crafts and holiday gifts
  • Food trucks will be located on Main Street throughout the morning, afternoon and evening 
  • Luckey Police Department annual Toy Drive, accepting donations between 10 am and 2 pm or 4 pm – 6 pm at the Municipal building (226 Main Street)
  • Holiday Painted Rocks will be hidden throughout the Village. Rocks can be turned into the Library for a special prize 
  • Downtown storefront window Scavenger Hunt. Maps/entry forms can be found at Unvaluted Treasures (236 Main Street). Prizes for completed entry forms. 
  • Drive through Santa – located at the Troy-Webster American Legion Hall (335 Park Drive) from 4 pm – 6 pm. Drive through, hand your child’s Christmas wish list to the elves and they will deliver to Santa.
  • Reverse parade. There are over a dozen homes/floats entered into the competition for “Best Lighted House” and “Best Lighted Float”. Addresses will be posted to the “Loving Luckey” community Facebook page. 
  • Santa will end the night by traveling through every street in the Village, being escorted by the Troy Township Fire and EMS Department and the Luckey Police Department. This will begin at the east end of the village at 6 p.m.
