National Alliance on Mental Illness Wood County will host “Workplace Wellness Lunch & Learn,” a NAMI Education Series about the StigmaFree Company Initiative, on Tuesday, July 25.

During the free luncheon event from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the NAMI Wood County office, 1250 Ridgewood Drive, Bowling Green, participants can come together, eat lunch and learn how to promote a culture of openness, acceptance and understanding about employees’ overall health and well-being in the workplace. Visit the NAMI website to register for the event.

“Boundaries: When to Say Yes, How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life” is the book featured for the Nite Out with NAMI Book Club meeting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25. The book by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend discusses the importance of having clear boundaries and the impact that it can have on leading a healthy, balanced life. While this book does have some Christian undertones, it will not be focus of group discussions. Anyone who attends the book club is welcome no matter of the beliefs that they hold. Visit Nite Out with NAMI to register for the book club and other Nite Out with NAMI events.
