ODOT reports on construction projects that will affect highways in Wood County

The following Ohio Department of Transportation construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Wood County in the coming weeks. All outlined work is weather permitting.

Interstate 75, between Buck Road and Monroe Street, Toledo/Rossford/Northwood, may experience occasional lane restrictions for finish work related to a reconstruction project. Southbound I-75, south of South Avenue will experience lane restrictions for final surface course application beginning late April/early May.

Interstate 75, between Ohio 795 and Buck Road, Rossford, will experience lane restrictions for overhead bridge reconstruction through summer 2025. Additional restrictions will be announced. Lime City Road over I-75, Rossford, is reduced to one lane in each direction with a temporary traffic signal. Due to the nature of the work, lane closure will remain in effect on April 8 (Eclipse date). Roadway will close fully for 120 days beginning in June.

Interstate 280, between Ohio 51 and Ohio 2, will experience lane and shoulder restrictions for resurfacing through October. Ramp restrictions and closures will be announced. Southbound I-280 may be reduced to one lane overnight, nightly, beginning March 22, for the duration of the project.

Ohio 65, between Ohio 64 and Ohio 582, will be closed for tree removal and drainage replacement prep work through March 22. Westbound detour: Route 64 to Route 582 to Route 65. Eastbound detour: Route 582 to Route 64 to Route 65.
