OhioMeansJobs Wood County to host Career Premiere event for students

OhioMeansJobs Wood County in partnership with Northwest State Community College is hosting a Career Premiere event on Wednesday, March 10. This year’s event will be held virtually with high school students from three participating area schools. 

More than 300 students from the Bowling Green, Elmwood and Otsego school districts will be given the opportunity to explore five fields including logistics, health care, manufacturing, digital technology, and the construction trades.

The main sessions will include a welcome from the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce followed by a presentation on career opportunities in each field followed by breakout sessions where students can interact with employers and educational providers. The goal of Career Premiere is to assist students to develop their future career pathways in high demand fields.
