Phyllis Stickles, 83, of Bowling Green, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016. Phyllis was born on January 18, 1933 to the late Edward & Gertrude (Rieth) Dorn in Parma, Ohio. She married Benjamin Stickles in 1954 and he preceded her in death in January 1994.Besides her parents, and husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by her sisters Carol Dorn and Lila Crawford.
Phyllis is survived by her sons: Franklin (Darlene) of Grand Rapids; Michael of Cape Coral, Florida; Kenneth of Bowling Green; Greg of Bowling Green; Patrick (Tracy) of Cape Coral, Florida; sister: Barbara Shaffer of North Baltimore; brother: Adolph (Betty) Dorn of Diamond, Ohio; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Phyllis worked many years as a waitress but her greatest accomplishment was raising her children.
Visitation for Phyllis will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Loomis-Hanneman Funeral Home, 20375 E. Taylor Street, Weston Ohio. Funeral Services for Phyllis will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 12:00 Noon also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Weston Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be gifted in Phyllis’ honor to Bridge Hospice.
